DEEPIKA PADUKONE WEDDING INSPIRED MAKEUP LOOK

It's Deepika's wedding and she looked astounding! Couldn't be any happier for this power couple and their fairy tale wedding. What took the internet by storm is how fuss free and simplistic yet modern, Deeps had her bridal or should I say wedding look! Gosh, she's a stunner.

The first two pictures released were from her Konkani styled wedding where she looked regal in her entirety and allowed the outfit and accessories take center stage. Her makeup was fresh, natural with a modern twist. Deepika is known to love her neutral colors for her minimal looking makeup look.

I was really drawn to the her simplistic bridal/wedding makeup look that I had to recreate the look, on myself. I just had to. Deepika had no evidence of a bright under eye concealer, contour and highlights. There was a faint blush on her cheeks that is hardly detectable while her skin looked like skin like, natural and glow-y.

Her eyebrows were nicely filled and her eyes densely rimmed with black kohl on her water lines and smoked out lash lines. Her lids had a wash of warm neutrals and her lips had 'my lips but better' hues. Aah, she looked beautiful!

I've kept the look close to how Deeps (for Deepika) had her makeup on her wedding day. Obviously, there is just one of her and so keep in mind, that this is an inspired look.

Deepika had a natural skin like finish, there were no visible signs of dew or highlight, just matte. For that matte finish, the natural surface shine can be kept under control with the use of a mattify-ing primer.

The ABH Soft Glam palette is perfect for the look Deepika had on her Konkani wedding, she's commonly seen with her natural earthy makeup looks.

Deepika's lashes had full on volume and were thick and sooth-y with a medium line of eyeliner. Her eyes had a touch of black for a smokey matte eye finish.

A great water based foundation that lends a close to matte finish is the NYX's Drop Foundation, super light-weight and wears well on oily and acne prone skin friendly.

For the final step to finish off this look, she had a close to her natural lip shade with a tinge of brown. The NYX Liquid Suede in Sandstorm lends a similar finish on my complexion.

Unlike the current trend of a bright under eye along with highlight and contour, she broke the rules and went for an all matte makeup look. This let her wedding down take center stage and be the statement that made her look regal. Aggh, my eyes are welling with tears. Isn't she and Ranveer a sight to behold!
