GLOW RECIPE Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial

The year end is here, if the weight of mask-ne is wearing you down then you have come to the right place today. I am going to share with you a product review on a non-drying clay mask and it's from Glow Recipe.

If you have been following this space, you could probably make out that by now I am somehow a Glow Recipe convert. This change of heart comes from great experiences from the products that have somewhat transformed my skin. Over a period of time, of course.

With skincare products, it takes a longer while to see changes and adapt to changes (if any). Clay masks are an oily skin girl's best friend however this clay mask is on a whole other level!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial Mask retails for SGD 60.00 and is listed in Sephora. This is fairly new to the market and since I have been loving a few other products from the Watermelon range, I thought I might like it too. I am here to share more about this product because I do.

It comes in a glass bottle and once the lid comes off, there is a scent. The scent is similar to the other watermelon infused products and it does not bother me. This clay mask needs to work it's skin refining magic in just five minutes. It does not dry down on the skin and on the first try, there was a slight warm tingly sensation.

I use tap water at room temperature to wet my hands to have more slip to the clay mask. On my fingers, I felt small little beads and these are the blueberry seeds that are meant to lightly exfoliate the skin's surface.

Kaolin clay are preferred for oily skin types however some clay masks soak up a little too much of hydration from the skin to reduce the production of oil glands. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial mask however contains hyaluronic acid whipped into the kaolin clay, infused with watermelon enzymes (AHA) and willow bark extract (a calming and soothing ingredient) to balance out the active plant derived alpha-hydroxy acids.

I particularly enjoy this mask, once every three days for my T-zone, it does not dry my skin out. It could be used daily too though I would not recommend this if you are just dipping your toes into active ingredient territory (AHA, BHA and PHA infused products)

To top it all off, it takes just five easy minutes. I brush my teeth, brush through my hair and the mask is ready to come off. I do not use physical exfoliant for my face hence this mask takes the place of a light and gentle exfoliation experience when removing it off.

It glides on and comes off fairly easy, does not stick to the skin like tradition clay masks and definitely tighten the appearance of enlarged pores with regular use!

Should you try this product out? A firm yes, from me! Time to spruce up the skin pamper routine with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial

That's it for today, I shall catch up with you very soon!

Stay Safe!
