GOOD OLD DAYS BISTRO REVIEW

Good Old Days Bistro showed up on a recent Google Search whilst I was busy collating a list of of new places to discover during weekends, public holidays and especially the fast approaching June school holidays. For us parents, we're looking to knocking off many things at once on our lengthy to do list during a time when kids have no school.

One thing for sure is discovering new places as a family takes a lot of work thus it is but essential to keep our tummies full and happy too. We usually stick to places nearby MRT Stations for the sake of our convenience.

Also come in handy whenever our 6yo gets tired quickly from walking, does that sound familiar now? At this age, it is no longer a choice for me to lift my now, heavy kid up. Nope, I am not going down that road.

Training the Missy to walk further distances, nice spot for pictures and great food has served to be an amazing source of inspiration for her. Hee hee!

This nostalgic cafe and it's quirky western-fusion cafe won our little girl's heart when she set her eyes on the swing and the miniature furnishings on the tables.

The furnishings had a mix of the old Singapore from the 70's and many more knick knacks from the 80's! We had water served in retro F&N transparent glasses, Yakult salt and pepper shakers, tiffin carriers I recall seeing with my Grandma.

One other thing to note is that this bistro has a wide variety to satisfy everyone in the family. My husband placed an order for the Oatmeal Chicken Burger, I chose Eggs Benedict while our Missy placed an order for Carbonara.

This bistro is widely popular for their waffles stack too and we couldn't resist not trying. We chose the plain and chocolate waffles with one scoop of vanilla bean ice-cream on a platter with fresh berries, syrup and nuts all around it.

If you're needing a waffle or Eggs Benedict fix then give the Good Old Days Bistro, a try and snap lots of pictures.
