As promised, let's discuss the five easy ways.

1. Apply the knowledge gained

Many a times, we know that we have to exercise regularly and make better food choices and to sleep on time. How many of us actually follow all the things, we know that would lead to our betterment? Sadly, not many of us.

The first step is to acknowledge the knowledge that has already passed down to us, try it out and experiment if it could fit our lifestyle or not. Then, we could go about assessing how it went and if we want to continue on with the changes implemented.

2. Prioritize your tasks

We can actually could do so much more things in ten years than we set ourselves out to do than accomplish all that we desire in a year. We so often, make this mistake. I am no different, I try to squeeze as much as I possibly can in a year's worth of to-do tasks than plan it out over a couple of years.

You can check it off your to-do list, if you turn your wants into plans progressively. It may get a little technical here, ask yourself. What is your big picture? Your dream house? Where do you want to live? Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Now, slowly start working backwards. Reverse engineering, my friend. A concept that I got introduced to about two years ago, it was so impossible at that point. Now, I can assure you that it is completely do-able.

3. Plan and Prepare ahead of time

Always remember, the bottom line is.. You've got to wait for good things. A human baby takes nine months before it is welcomed into our world. We were once babies and now we're adults. In the future, we'll be much older and wiser.

Experiences good and bad helps us, shapes us in many forms. If you have a long history of being late, it's time to sharpen up the 'getting ready' game or you would be losing out opportunities that you can only regret. We don't want that.

Don't wait till you turn hungry and then wonder what you should feed your tummy, that's never good for your health anyway. Do what you need to do, to get where you want to be at.

4. Create a fuss free Weekly Menu

You know you're busy then leaves very little time to waste. Why dread at the last minute for food? I emphasize big on food as I am a huge foodie, myself. I have a few more tummies to feed other than myself. Hence, a fuss free weekly menu is easy to remember and essentially easy to cook.

When I say it's easy, I really mean it! If you are following me on Instagram and if you happen to see my occasional posts on my insta-story, you will understand that food is important to me. It should be for you too.

It keeps you energized and makes you happy, at least for me! Come up with a menu that you would overall know how to make it in ahead of time and is nutritious for you and your family!

5. Get Help

It doesn't matter if you have enough hands or not. Establish individual family members' responsibilities as soon as you think and are sure that they are ready to handle it. We only have so little time in a day to do many things that we set ourselves to do.

Do you really want to do 'everything'? No one is going to honor you in an awards show with a gold trophy for being the, 'Supermummy of the Year' and only to fall ill a week later. I've been there and I can share that the recovery takes a whole lot longer as you age. Yikes, very true indeed!

Don't let me get started on the South Asian traditions of how we're not supposed to have our kids to help us with our household chores. I sure beg to differ, sharing household chores introduces a sense of responsibility especially if the lovely kids are fond of pleasing their parents. It's quite a challenging trait to spot in a kid, in this day and age.

I for one, feel that is not a healthy sign! I actively request my kid to help out in small ways that are possible for her age and shape. My kid helps me to load the washing machine with her laundry, she loves pouring detergent. She enjoys packing her bag for school and picking out her favorite snacks from the grocery store. I love how a small person of her size and age know exactly what she wants.

She earns a dollar, every single day. Come weekends, she's ready to get herself something from the weekly allowance earned and I've noticed that she's able to understand the basics of monetary value. It's a win win!

Oh boy, this is a lengthy blog post and I do hope that it serves to be purposeful for one of you reading this blog post. Do feel free to share this post with your friends!

If you're curious how I manage to get so much done, by myself. This is how, I won't say I'm spectacular at this routine yet, implementing these changes have definitely been the better of days for us!

I originally wanted to forego today's work session and go watch Padmavati at the cinema but I dreaded at the idea of collecting backlog so here I am.. Writing this blog post at my neighborhood Starbucks coffee joint!

I shall catch you on my next blog post, soon!

Love,
